Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure On October 20, 2006, Farmers & Merchants Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that its board of directors has authorized the repurchase of up to 250,000 shares of its outstanding common stock. Such repurchases will be conducted in the open market and in privately negotiated transactions during the balance of 2006 and throughout 2007. At October 20, 2006, the Company had 5,176,000 shares of common stock outstanding. On December 19, 2005, the Company announced its plan to repurchase up to 5,000 shares of its common stock (20,000 shares adjusted for a 4 for 1 stock split effective May 12, 2006), all of which shares have now been repurchased.
